A beautiful Eastlake Queen Anne Victorian built in 1903 by George Wilburn Nesom. The house is filled with antiques and waiting to lull you into a feeling of yesteryear. Join us on our beautiful verandah sipping afternoon tea while watching the trains go by as they have for more than 150 years. Our 4 charming bedrooms offer king or double beds. ( Roll-away beds are available upon request.)
Just 10 minutes from Ponchatoula, America's Antique City, where you can shop for antiques forever! Or just take a leisurely drive north on scenic Highway 51 and shop along the way at the many flea markets and antique stores.
If wildlife is your thing, the Global Wildlife Center is only 15 minutes away. Some of the animals will eat right out of your hands!
The beautiful campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond is 5 minutes from our front door. While you are there, stop in and visit the many coffee houses and speciality shops in the historic downtown district.
Only 40 minutes from our capital city of Baton Rouge, 1 hour from downtown New Orleans and 45 minutes from New Orleans International Airport. ( Transportation to and from the airport is available upon request on Saturdays and Sundays only.)
